We match pugs to their prospective owners, not necessarily in the order of
application.
Once you see the application on your screen, press Print on your computer.
You will need Adobe Acrobat
Reader on your computer.
If you do not have it, you can download it free--it's easy--from

General Adoption
Policies:
All pugs adopted out through
us have been spayed or neutered. We do not encourage or endorse amateur
breeding.
All of our pugs have been
given a vet check and the new owner(s) will be apprised of their current
health condition.
We do not ship pugs out
of the area. You must be within our area to qualify for one of our pugs (from
Atascadero & SLO to the north, down to areas of Los Angeles to the south,
and Moorpark to the east).
All pugs have an adoption
fee. This fee helps offset the sizable medical costs we incur from rescuing
pugs.
We do not give away pugs free. If you cannot easily afford the adoption fee,
then you cannot afford to have a pug!
Our rescue pugs are put
on a high-quality, all natural, real food diet, which makes their coats soft
and shiny and strengthens their immune systems so they can fend off disease
naturally. New adopters are expected to continue with this diet.
Things you should know before
you get a pug:
Pugs are a
high-maintenance breed of dog. A majority of them have eye problems of some
sort and will require daily prescription eyedrops. There is also ear cleaning
and nose-fold cleaning as needed. Brushing is usually not necessary (although
they love it) and baths can be every 1-2 months, as needed. Nail clipping
will probably be required monthly. They need exercise and love to go for
walks and rides in the car. Most are very social with other animals (including
cats), people and kids. Most of all, they thrive on being with their owners
as much as possible, and we are looking for those types of homes for them.
We do not recommend long-term use of steroids or getting vaccinations (other
than their original puppy shots) for adult pugs.
