Boscoe

Boscoe (left) is a very sweet boy, 3-4 years old, who has just been placed in his forever home in Ventura. His new pug-mom, Sue Belzer, says he is very smart, hasn't chased the cat, and hasn't made any potty mistakes in the house. He also likes his new little brother, Harvey (right), very much.

Boscoe came to us in serious need of upper-repiratory repair. Suffering in the heat and his constant heavy panting and struggling to breathe landed him straight into the hospital. Next day, a talented surgeon in Oxnard performed elongated palate surgery and also widened his nostrils (on the inside, not the outside). In a few days Boscoe had a new lease on life, and today he is a very normal, healthy pug (at tremendous cost, we might add!).

It was worth it, tho. Boscoe is much loved and we are pleased with his wonderful new home.
