Eloise

Eloise had the good fortune to get adopted by a lovely young couple (Aubray and Jay Abuchea) who lived in Cayucos (north of Santa Barbara), but have now moved to San Diego. Her new mom is an artist who takes Eloise for lots of walks in beautiful Balboa Park. Of course Eloise LOVES all that attention and those walks in the park. She has met lots of other pugs there, too. Here's what Aubray wrote us:

"Eloise is 6 years and 10 months old, and we adopted her 5 months ago (April of 2001).

"We are so blessed to have her--she immediately became one of the family.

"I named her after my favorite childhood book, 'Eloise'. In that book, Eloise had a pug (its name was Weeny . . . she didn't seem like a "Weeny").

"Everywhere we go she attracts LOTS of attention! We even take her to WalMart. She sits in the cart and finds the good sale items!

"We are grateful to Pug Rescue of Santa Barbara for what they do.

"Eloise is a gem!"
