Minnie - The Joyful "Mini Pug!"
November 1st marked an important date for another Santa Barbara Pug Rescue success-story: "Minnie" an 18 month old 12 1/2 lb. black female was adopted by Jay Albert and Brian Meeder of Santa Barbara ... she's just adorable! Minnie came from a Puppy Mill breeding kennel up in Northern California which had been shut down. Spending her prior life crated mostly -- without much human contact, she had her first litter of puppies at only a year of age! ... and was most assuredly facing a life sentence as a puppy machine. It was by sheer luck and word-of-mouth through Connie and Don Phillips and other dedicated Pug Rescue individuals that Minnie was rescued. She now has another happy, well-loved and treasured family member in the Albert-Meeder household. Minnie is a constant source of laughter and joy who romps with her "big sister" Moxie (another PRSB success story!) and their two Bengal Cats, Garbo and Gatsby. She loves taking walks, goes to work with Brian on a daily basis and like Moxie has her very own monogrammed car seat! Thanks again for rescue organizations like Pug Rescue Santa Barbara. |
